This Month

In the past month Abby has mastered "big girl eating".  Now that she has molars she is eating more of a variety of food.  She is also doing very well with the fork and the spoon now.  Her new favorite thing is to sit with her spoon and her yogurt cup, make a mess, and eat it all up.  I know everyone says this about their child but Abigail is extremely well behaved.  Thanks to having Emma around everyday she knows how to share very well and she knows how to share mom and dad!  She says "please" and "thank you" on a regular basis. She is such a sweet child!

Fullerton Arboretum

I use to think 6am was earlier.  I wish we had 6am back.  We are up much earlier these days in this house. SO to take advantage of the day we were loaded in by 8am last Saturday and headed out to the Fullerton Arboretum.  We spent a little over an hour just walking around enjoying family time and the outdoors!

GUESS WHO WENT IN THE POTTY!!!!?!?!?!?!

YES Abigail went in the potty for the first time yesterday YEA!!!!! I am certain it was by accident but hey we are making progress! YEA Abby!

It was hilarious because later in that day she picked up her baby doll, threw her up and down in the air saying "WEEEEEE" then took her to the potty and sat her on the potty.  She was totally being mom! She is such a cute little girl!

Potty Like a Rock Star!

I was chosen through a House Party Website to throw a Huggies Pull-Ups Potty Training Party.  I invited a few friends and we did the Potty Dance, Diaper Toss and had lunch.  We also love a good party!

Valentine's Day--Toddler Style

Becky had the idea of throwing a party for the kids.  We all thought that was wonderful so here we go!

The tables were set up so nicely and the kids colored and played until we had some breakfast.  Becky made pancakes in the shapes of the kids first letter of their names. So cute and fun!

We did a craft with their hand prints that made into a wall hanging!

Finished off the morning with a balloon game.  Keep the balloons in the air. So simple and so much fun!

18 month stats

We had Abby's 18 month appointment this week and she was a trooper.  We were there for over 3 hours because I had an appointment and lab work so when we finally got to her appointment she was so hungry and tired.  She was fine until it came time for her shots, then not so happy :(  I know it is rough, but so worth it to protect her.  She did do better this time around though than the past few times.  She weighed in at 23 lbs and is 2 feet 8 inches tall!
